Granted, I did buy the Escape as is, but never have I experienced this many problems with ONE vehicle. I noticed the motor mounts were a problem when I accelerate and the whole engine launched up at least 2-3 inches. The motor mount bracket by the radiator was cracked in half. Both motor mounts on the sides had the rubber nearly missing and dried out.

Now the worse problem was the trans/motor mount. I was able to wield a new bracket for the one mount but the trans mount was loose and the stud was NOT even in there. After replacing all motor mounts I noticed the engine was still moving during gear shifts or acceleration. Once again the trans mount stud was not tightened. I used a impact gun and tightened it as much as it would let me. Two months later same issue. After replacing it AGAIN I tightened it as much as it would let me. The stud is tight BUT the mount still moves around. As we speak the mount still lunges up during gear shifts and acceleration.

With it doing all the moving I've had to replace the flex pipe 3 times and have random oil leaks. Just a couple months ago the flex pipe broke off the exhaust and I dragged the whole exhaust pipe along the express way. Now I'm getting a check engine light for P0420 and P0430. At this point I might as well replace the entire exhaust system.
