CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2012 Ford Escape has an acceptable complaint history so far, with leaking rear window problems showing up as the main concern so far. NHTSA complaint data shows an early pattern of problems with stalling while driving.
Another concern is the 2012 Escape rolled onto its roof during an NHTSA side impact test so it only received a marginal side impact rating ... not good.

Winter 2016 heater failed to warm our car and defrost the windows...took it to Ford who apparently fixed the problem and it was working but than Summer came upon us and we were using the Air conditioner since the repair was made and did not try the heater because of the Summer weather. ~ Now the nights are getting a bit colder and we put on the car heater and defroster and it still isn't working ~ So I am guessing it was never really repaired ~ Car is soon due for servicing and again I will bring it in for this repair and hope it will be fixed correctly this time as we need heat in the winter ! and I do have the Ex Service Plan for Ford ~ Just Very Annoying as my car has about 35,000.00 miles on it and this should not be happening !
