reverse assist camera screen shows black or random distorted colors

I drove an hour to this specific Ford dealer to get a car that had the backup camera and navigation in the dash. I'm a recent college grad and first time car buyer so it's the biggest purchase I've made. I am bitterly disappointed that this camera was acting up less than two months after I bought it. I increased my budget considerably as well as my range for a suitable dealer (there's plenty near me) to get one with all these features, and wouldn't you know it, it's those features that I paid extra for that stopped working almost immediately after buying it. It's not the only thing wrong with the car since I've bought it, but the dealer isn't helping at all with the repairs. I did not get an extended warranty or anything, and the car is 4 years old, but I'd expect to get what I paid for without any issues like this.
