The reprogramming didn't stop the problem. CD player STILL doesn't eject the CD. This is the 2nd time I'm having to replace the CD player in my new car in less than 3 months. Major Pain!

cd player doesn't eject cds

I go to my dealer and after looking at the problem, they determine that there is an alignment problem between the CD Player and the Dash cover. With the Dash cover off the CD Player, it ejects CDs just fine. So, they remove mine and replace my dash cover with another from a different 2015 on the lot. The repair seemed to work, for about 3 weeks, but it did fail again. I WAS able to at least remove my CDs from the player. They were able to be ejected about 1/4" out, which was enough for me to pinch the CD and pull it out. So.....I've had my CD player replaced 3 times, for a total of 4 players total in a year. I'll be returning to the dealer again soon to tell them that their previous 'repair' wasn't permanent. I still can't use my CD player. After the 2nd replacement, I did call Ford's Regional Manager, Lucy Rodrequez, in order to open a case file in the hopes of finding the permanent solution.

I paid over $28,000. for my car, and I can't use the CD Player. How lame is that?! I'd really just like them to fix the problem for good!!
