- Summary
- Updated Technical Information for Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) reset after PCM reprogram. Unplugging the PSCM is no longer required as new FDRS service function is available. In some of the affected vehicles, the customer may experience limited powertrain acceleration and speed along with a Stop Safely Now message and a check engine light displayed in the instrument cluster. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0340 and P1A0C may be present in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). This is due to crankshaft and camshaft signal quality during start up, resulting in incorrect synchronization and the inability of the engine to produce the requested torque. SERVICE
