- Summary
- Some 2020 Escape HEV vehicles built on or before 10-Jun-2020 may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with DTCs P2CF3, P2D00, P2D01, P2D02, P2D03, P2D04, P2B29, P0CFF, P0E1F and/or P0C4B stored in the battery energy control module (BECM). This may be due to various strategies within the BECM software. To resolve this condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) and the BECM.
