It is clear to me that the hatchback on my new 2021 Ford Escape is misaligned. It sound like it shuts ok but to the eye, it is clearly misaligned and it is visible that there is more of a gap on the left side than the right.
I did a walk around the dealership and looked at the new Escapes and some had the hatchbacks aligned properly and others not.
I asked the dealership if they could align it and they said no because that is the way it came from the plant!
