2022 Ford Escape
TSB Document:
Affected Component: FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
- Summary
- Some 2022 Escape vehicles built on 11-Oct-2021 and through 16-Aug-2022 equipped with intelligent adaptive cruise control may exhibit a condition where the speed limit sign recognition indicator does not flash in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) when the vehicle is driven over the speed limit tolerance. This may be due to a misconfigured IPC. To correct this condition, run the IPC-Configuration app using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 10849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS Manual).
