This is the 3rd time the "display" screen in my vehicle has gone out. I was under the impression that the last time I left it with the dealership, that they had "replaced" the module. Apparently, they had not, they had only done a software upgrade. This time, since my vehicle was left for a fuel/engine failure while driving, (loss of power) I also asked them to "re-look" at the display screen issue. THIS time I was told after picking the vehicle up, that they actually did a "module" replacement. I am hoping to not ever have this issue again, as it's a royal pain. Can't FORD get this right???? Honestly? The mechanic told me it has to do with upgrades that phone carriers do, then it messes with the Bluetooth in your vehicle. If I were out of warranty, this would be $128 minimum for the dealership to upgrade or reprogram the software part of the module, every time that happens! Had I known that, I most like would not have purchased the vehicle, or any vehicle that would require "software upgrades" periodically, that could not be done by the vehicle owner themselves.
