BOUGHT THIS $55,000 PLUS EXPLORER PLATINUM FROM A LOCAL DEALER. I'M RETIRED SO I DRIVE VERY LITTLE. WHEN THE CAR IS COLD (SUMMER OR WINTER) YOU GET A VIBRATION FROM ABOUT 50MPH TO JUST OVER 60MPH. IT'S IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND IN YOUR SEAT.

FORD IN IT'S GENIUS PUT ON HANKOOK TIRES ON THIS EXPENSIVE VEHICLE, THE SAME BRAND AND MODEL THAT IS INVOLVED IN MANY CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS AND PROBLEMS WITH CAR MAKERS LIKE HYUNDAI. I'VE HAD MY EXPLORER TIED UP FOR ABOUT A WEEK TOTAL ON TWO TRIPS AND THEY RE-BALANCED ALL THE TIRES/WHEELS, CHANGED THE TIRES, WHEELS AROUND TO DIFFERENT AXLES AND REPLACED ONE OF THE INFERIOR HANKOOK TIRES. IT STILL VIBRATES.

MY WIFE'S INEXPENSIVE TOYOTA RAV4 CAME NEW WITH MICHELINS. GO FIGURE.

IF FORD CAN'T GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT, I'M GOING TO PUT ON A NEW SET OF MICHELINS AND THEN NEVER BUY A FORD AGAIN. I'VE HAD 4 NEW EXPLORERS AND A NEW MERCURY.
