The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, he heard abnormal clunking sounds coming from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the Integrated Wheel End (IWE) had failed and damaged the wheel hubs, rotors, and brake pads. The vehicle was repaired under an unknown Ford Technical Service Bulletin; however, the failure reoccurred at 51,000 miles. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who provided the same diagnostic information. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they would partially cover the repair as the VIN was not included in a recall and the vehicle was out of warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000. The contact stated that despite multiple replacement, the vehicle still experiences the same issue.
