2018 FORD F-150 is our first new truck off the lot. Regular oil changes and maintenance kept up. But only after 88,000 the cat goes out? Not to mention the other issues I've had with this truck but fixing it is better than buying a brand new one at $50,000. I should have done more research on Fords and their issues before buying it. Buyer beware of this generation truck.
Started truck in the morning and the engine light came on... I used my code reader to determine the issue. P0420: catalytic converter efficiency low, Bank 1. Took truck to dealer, they had it for about 3 hours and said they were going to replace the catalytic converter under warranty. Dealer provided me with a loaner vehicle on 1/21/20 when I dropped off the truck.
