Takata recall. The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the airbag warning light illuminated when the vehicle was turned on. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that she would need to take her vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer krietz auto 400 N East St, frederick, md 21701 (301) 694-4642, where it was diagnose that airbag needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure but no further assistance was taken. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-250. While the vehicle was engaged in park, it made an abnormal noise and rolled backwards out of the driveway. The vehicle rolled over a ditch, which caused the vehicle to move forward and crash into a tree. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. During the failure, the contact's husband was standing next to the vehicle with the door open. When the vehicle rolled back, it knocked him over; injuries were sustained. The vehicle was towed to marshal mize Ford (5348 Tennessee hwy 153, hixson, tn 37343, (423) 875-2023), but the cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 4,300.
