The contact stated that the power lock actuator failed; not allowing the contact to lock the driver of the vehicle, and passenger side doors from either the remote or the interior controls of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, however, the contact was advised that a diagnostic could not be performed as the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced Customer Satisfaction Program 20M04 as possible connection to the failure experienced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 31,000.
The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-250. The contact stated all the door latches were frozen and failed to keep the doors securely closed. The contact stated that the door ajar warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing all door latches to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with Manufacturer Communications: 18N03 and FSA17S33; however, the dealer stated that the vehicle did not qualify for repairs due to the mileage. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
