Dissatisfied Customer in Central Florida to be specific Mulinax Ford in Kissimmee FL 34744. I have a 2017 Ford Focus with 7000 miles I bought Used Certified with Low Mileage and now I am at 70,000 Miles. I recently starting having a Raw Gas Odor in the Cabin after filling the car up with Gas. Then the Check Engine Light came on then went off. So I took it to Mulinax for Service. $700.00 Later they claimed it was an EGR Issue which they replaced a part at approximately $150.00 in Parts and alleged all was fixed. I noticed on various web sights this is an know issue with Ford Focus and I Brought it up with the Service GM and was provided a number to Ford Corporate. I was already unhappy with the fact they would not honor any recall and now to add insult to injury I fill my car up with gas this AM and once again the Raw Gas Smell is still there. The Dealership referred me to Corporate and they do not care either.
This Purge Valve is a known Ford Issue they appear tp be limiting how many they are willing to repair.
