2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

"takata recall" I have tried to contact the local Ford dealership to fix the air bag issue but they have told me multiple times that they do not have the parts for the air bag available and I would have to wait and they would notify me when they could fix it. This has been told to me since May 2018. So 5 months later and im still told the same thing. I would like to know why the parts are still not available for my vehicle. My passenger airbag light will be on saying that the air bag is off and not even working so on top of metal fragments that could possibly come out if the air bag did work and deploy half the time its not on anyway so therefor is more risk added to whomever is in my passenger seat at the time. Ford needs to resolve this issue asap and stop telling people they do not have parts available at this time which I find hard to believe.
Takata I received a notice for a recall for my airbag. I haven't had any repairs as of yet. I am constantly on the highway and on edge each time I or someome is om the passenger side. I am scheduled to go out of town on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, the way accidents are happening, I am afraid to drive this vehicle but it is the only transportation I have to go in.
Takata recall passenger air bag inflator subject to explosive fault.. first notice received July 2016, second December 2017 warning not to sit in passenger seat. Third June 2018. Each says parts available in subsequent quarter. Over two years and no end in sight. Recall 16S26. NHTSA recall 16V-384
Takata recall. Ford has not provided me with a remedy to this airbag issue. I would like to feel safe when I drive my car. Please help. Much appreciated. Josh.

Takata recall. Notice sent in May 2018 that Ford is offering to pay for the use of a rental vehicle as a means of alternate transportation until parts are available. I have made several calls to winner Ford in dover, de who keep advising me they do not have parts nor do they have a vehicle they can provide me with, I am on a waiting list keep calling back. I have called several times and was told the same thing. It is now October and when I called on 10/20 I was told the parts are not in and nothing regarding a car when I inquired. I called willis Ford in smyrna, Delaware who at least advised me I was #87 on their list. How true that is I do not know. I was not asked for my VIN or what kind of car just a phone number I can be reached at.
Takata air bags recall: Ford recall# 18S01 & NHTSA# 18V046. I received the recall from January 2018. I keep calling Ford & as of today the parts are still not being made. My question is: What to do because many have been killed with these airbags exploding. I see there is a law suit going on between takata & Ford but how does this help in the mean time" death is not a forgiving thing from a recall where half the work is familiar with. Any help to be had other than hiring an attorney"
In 2/18 Ford sent safety recall notice 18501 re passenger airbag. In 5/18 Ford letter stating part still not available. On 10/23/18 Ford dealership advised parts still not available until at least December. Should Ford be required as safety precaution to recommend I get rental car due risk of serious injury in head on collision"the Ford letters re rental car option in my view referred to while car in shop for to repair. Do I assume risk of injury if I continue to drive my car during very long delay in getting part distributed" Ford is being irresponsible by not recommending car not be driven and customers should exercise rental option.

Takata recall. I received a recall notice in May 2018. The Ford recall notice said that parts are anticipated to be available during the second and third quarters of 2018. Ford stated that it would notify me to schedule the airbag recall repair. Notwithstanding this representation, the second and third quarters of 2018 have passed and Ford has failed to notify me to schedule the repair. My 2010 Ford Fusion is worthless for sale or trade-in, except for salvage value, as long as the airbags have not been repaired. Also, and importantly, there is a risk of injury if this is not repaired. I request that NHTSA require Ford to fix this vehicle within the time promised. This conduct by Ford is not acceptable.
