2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

Takata recall--I have received two notices about recall and have been to my dealership several times and they tell me each time that they have tried but cannot get the parts for replacement of airbags under recall. Can you send them directly to me?
Takata recall: Have made repeated requests to local Ford dealer as to availability of replacement airbags. To date Ford Motor Company has failed to make replacement parts for takata airbags available to Ford dealers in the san diego area. Ford Motor Company has an obligation to provide replacement airbags in a timely manner. The first recall notice for these airbags was sent out July 2016.

Takata recall. We received the recall notice in July 2016, now 16 months ago. I have called our local dealer (san juan capistrano, ca.) many times and have always been told the same thing....they are not available and don't know when they will be. I even wrote to Ford on 1/16/17, saying my car was sitting in the garage all this time, I am scared to have a passenger in that seat, hearing about deaths and injuries. I have no use from my car since that time (the battery keeps dying from misuse!) I asked for a loaner car in the meantime (as a Toyota owner friend of mine was given!) and have been refused. They wrote to say that I have been "provided a response to your request". I have given up calling and writing as there is no satisfaction. No car, no loaner car, and no news of a fixed/new passenger airbag!!
Takata recall I've been notified that my airbags might kill me. There are no parts available to replace them. This reduces the value of my vehicle by an amount I cannot estimate. Of course, if it kills me, I probably won't care.

I have not received anything from Ford in order to remedy the possible issue with these airbags. I'd like to have them fixed before I end up in some kind of accident. I didn't know anything about this issue until I received a postcard in the mail.
Takata recall 0F airbag June 2016. Dealer has not received replacement parts...called dealer wait list is huge because parts are not given from takata inflators
We have been calling the dealer since the recall in June 2016 and they don't have the replacement part. They said they will call us when they get it in. We have called many times beginning when we were first notified and as late as 11/13/2017.
Takata recall I attempted to have this fixed last year and was told no parts were available. I am in the military, and in order to have this vehicle shipped to Alaska, I have to fix this recall.
Takata recall I have yet to receive a repair or notice of parts available to repair the defective psan inflators on my vehicle. I have contacted multiple Ford dealerships and Ford corporate regarding the takata airbags, but I get nowhere with either one of them regarding when a fix is available and why parts are unavailable. I would like to formally submit a complaint to Ford due to their unacceptable service with regards to how long the process is taking. Airbag recalls should not take multiple years to resolve, it should be of the highest priority; and it appears that Ford does not think that is the case.
I have been notified of recalls regarding the airbags for more than 1 year. I called again recently in November 2017, and takata has not supplied the airbags for the dealership to replace. Do we really have to wait until someone is injured?
