Canyon SLT 3.7L L5

Truck won't start intermittently - it will turn over but won't fire. If you wait for about 10 to 15 minutes it will start. This only occasionally occurs. It may go months and it won't happen. I have had it in the shop but they have been unable to find the problem. I was told that the ignition key may be worn so I have been using my spare key which was nearly new but it has happened with the new key also! This has been annoying because sometimes you can be in an embarrassing situation.

problem #1

Feb 092013

Canyon 4 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 127,000 miles

i bought this vehicle used, "AS IS", not knowing why the sales manager wouldn't look me in the face. He told me that the first time it wouldn't crank was because it was out of gas. The dealership put gas in it and it drove fine. 3 days later - i go out to crank it and it will turn over, but not crank. This has become very annoying. I would love to know what my problem might be!? I've replaced the fuel pump relay and the fuel modular. THIS HAS NOT FIXED MY PROBLEM!!!
