Accord EX-L 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 41,800 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

Started the car and was immediately received 5 messages: "lkas: Lane keeping assist system problem. See your dealer.". "road departure mitigation system problem. See your dealer.", "blind spot information system problem. See your dealer.", "auto high_beam problem. Manual controls available. See your dealer." "Automatic lighting control system. Manual control available. See your dealer."

The turn signals did not work. Hazard lights did not work. Trunk release did not work. Backup camera did not work. Map lights did not work.

Drove an hour home and did not fix itself. Someone mentioned after 30 minutes it all went away, not my case. Drove an hour back to work. Still not fixed.

Solution - to disconnect negative battery lead for 30 seconds. Reconnect. Car goes through some testing, drove for a minute. Normal again.

multiple electrical issues

The car was parked. Upon using the remote, I could not unlock the car doors or open the trunk. The driver door was the only thing I could access. Upon starting the car, multiple warning lights including: “Lane Keeping Assist Problem. See your dealer.” “Auto Headlight Problem. See your dealer.” “Lane Mitigation System Problem. See Your Dealer.” “Braking System.” I could not use the rear camera while car was in reverse. Blinkers were not visible inside the car. It was just a complete mess! I have only had the car for 6 months. This should t be happening.

This car almost killed me driving home from Orlando, Florida while it was raining. I had the windshield wipers turned on to the highest level and when it started to rain hard, the water blinded me while traveling at 70 mph speeds on the interstate. Semi trucks and other large cars were passing me by as I slowed down to under 30 mph due to no visibility. Got off an exit as the rain slackened up but started raining heavily again and I was blinded again. Almost blew through a stop sign into oncoming traffic IN BOTH DIRECTIONS.

The car has automatically slammed on brakes for no reason at all when I’m traveling at high speeds. This is VERY DANGEROUS and has nearly caused an accident.

There are serious issues with this car and Honda won’t be satisfied until someone is killed.

Accord EX 1.5L 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 150 miles

Bought New 2018 Honda Accord in August 2018. Have an intermittent problem. After exiting the car, the alarm will go off. I will hear 5-6 quick beeps which seems to come from the trunk area. The trunk is closed. When this happens the car, which has automatic door locks, will not lock. I then have to manually lock the car as the remote will not do it. Later when I try to get into the car I have to manually open the door as the remote will not work. This car also has remote starting but that, also, will not work after the beeps occur. In some instances I will see a message on the dashboard to hold the remote near the electronic start to start the car. I have had the car at the dealership at least 8 times in the last 2 months. Since the problem is intermittent, they are unable to replicate what is going on so, hence they cannot solve my problem.I have only has this car for 3 months. This should not be happening with a new vehicle.
