This is the third Accord I've owned, and none of them have been issue-free, but this one (2020) is the worst. I bought this car late market (in March of 2021) with only 6 miles on it. Within a week it started to throw occasional notifications, but it still drove fine.

Fast forward - after dealing for months with annoying codes and alerts (daily), it started having a new issue: it would act like it was out of gas - regardless of how much was in the tank, regardless of where I was (in traffic, going 70 on the freeway, turning a corner, etc.). I had done some research on the previous issues and found the information I needed, so I started looking into the fuel issue.

Turns out there had been a fuel pump recall before the car was owned by me (the Denso fuel pump recall), so it may be what the issue is, but I've never received a recall notice.

Since it is a wide-spread issue (over 700k Hondas affected), and the reports outline exactly what is happening with my car. I'm so tired of dealerships not knowing what is wrong, or knowing there is a problem but no fix exists (thanks Honda); I cannot be without my car for long, so I have been reluctant to bring it in since all other complaints seem to indicate that there is no perfect fix.

I am certain I am done with Honda at this point - it is terrifying to be driving at 70 mph and the car all of a sudden acts like it cut out (pumping the gas a time or two usually brings it back on line).

Other drivers have no patience for the car that suddenly slowed down in front of them for no apparent reason.
