CarComplaints.com Notes: While the 2009 CR-V still came equipped with tires that wear out faster than my Grandpa after a turkey dinner, Honda did address an electrical problem with the door locks that plagued owners of previous model years.

Armrest bubbles. The whole interior is peeling and bubbling at very low milage. Every CRV I have seen has this issue. Fortuately, Amazon sell the leather for <$20. It took several hours to replace. Youtube has a nice video and with special woods glue it looks like new.

I am very disgusted, I bought my car used with I believe 16,000 miles on it. I noticed the armrest had a dirty spot on it. I tried to clean it when we got home and it turned out to be a worn spot. Then this year the armrest started to bubble like cheap plastic. I took my car into the dealership and the man told me I could buy the two door armrests for about $400. I then went to a local upholsterer and he said he could redo the inner armrest for $75 each. I bought the EXL model for the upgrades. It said leather seats. This is the cheapest plastic you could find. Also the paint is very cheap, your fingernails scratch under the door handles when opening the doors. I also had the road noise problem and swore it was my rear end. It turned out to be the tires. I still owe $6,000 for this car and I will never buy another Honda again.
