The contact owns a 2009 Honda CR-V. the contact stated that while loading groceries into the rear, the rear lift gate slammed down onto her head. The vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop and the components which held the lift gate up were replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 42,000. Updated 04/20/12
