CarComplaints.com Notes: While the 2009 CR-V still came equipped with tires that wear out faster than my Grandpa after a turkey dinner, Honda did address an electrical problem with the door locks that plagued owners of previous model years.

I bought this car used in October so I don't really know how long it has been going on. When I took it back to the small dealership where I bought, they had their mechanic look at it. He checked the fluid and said it was where it needed to be. The problem still exists, which tells me that they really just blew me off on the problem. Unfortunately, it was one of those days where the problem didn't present itself (like when you have a PC problem.. mysteriously you take it to the computer guru and problem is not there). My regular mechanic doesn't know what is involved (labor wise) to fix this so he hasn't given me an estimate yet. From my research, the fluid needs to be drained and replaced with Honda Dual Pump Fluid II. However, I'm hoping that this is not an ongoing, ultimately unfix-able issue.
