There were 2 lights on the dash for about 4 months. They were the power steering symbol and the traction control. After 4 months the SUV was not allowing the driver to engage from Parking into Reverse, Neutral and Drive, e.t.c. The issue seemed to correct itself after turning the SUV off and turning it back on. The dash lights were still on even after the restart. After 2 weeks of this, it was no longer a solution. When trying to switch into gears, the driver will step on the brakes but the brake lights would not light up. (The SUV did turn on and was on idle). After replacing the brake light switch, the SUV was able to be put in gears, the brake light turned on and the two dash lights has been off for 2 weeks ever since.
