I had an AC compressor replaced at the end of June as my air began blowing out warm. Since then the air has been cold but now proceeds to stop blowing through the vents after a few minutes of driving. When this happens the pipes under the hood from the low and high pressure nozzles are totally covered in ice as far back as the pipe goes. To fix this, a new expansion valve and condenser have been put in ($1,600) but the problem is still continuing. There was also a flush of the AC system.
I need some help here as my mechanic seems to be stumped. Any thoughts?
