The contact owns a 2001 Honda Civic. While traveling at 35 mph, the vehicle would not accelerate or shift into any additional gears whether high or low. The vehicle was taken to a local repair facility where the contact was informed that the transmission would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not serviced and there were no prior warnings of the failure. The current and failure mileages were 98,000.
