Purchased my van with 160,000kms on the odometer late 2015. Fluid was light brown so I changed the fluid 3 times to clean it out. Shifting is smoother. D light started blinking, replaced 3rd and 4th gear sensors. Problem solved. Later on, started to shift slightly harder in city traffic.
Final solution: fourth after fluid change with on whole bottle of Lucas Transmission fix (Mcfaden Honda Lethbridge, Ab. Approved) shifts like new, no sense of slipping or hard shifting,
Bottom line transmission is a piece of crap but keep it going with Lucas. And don't drive it hard.
This is just my luck with this van I know others have had worse experiences.
