Saw what I thought was steam coming up from the hood. Then noticed A/C stopped working. Drove into Honda dealer, and the tech right away said, "Look there, it seems a small rock hit your condenser." There was some oily residue visible on the front of the condenser. I looked at that and said, "Why did Honda put the condenser so frickin low? It is so frickin vulnerable this is probably going to happen again. This is a TERRIBLE design. Why did they not put a grill in front of it to give it some protection against road debris? To keep the revenue from repair work rolling in, I guess. What a racket!

Odyssey EX-L V6

A "retaining" clip on a heater hose to the rear AC/heater unit that should have been removed was not. Once under enough pressure, the rear hose worked lose and leaked coolant fluid. Not only did it leak fluid exterior to the vehicle (in front of right rear wheel), but also inside.

Dealer had to order and install new floor carpet from rear seats forward. Everything was covered under warranty but it did result in 2 days downtime, plus the hassle of getting stranded when the hose let lose while driving.

Antifreeeze / coolant leak from the rear heater. Puddle next to the right side rear wheel. Took dealer 8 hrs in 2 days to fix the problem. Clamp on the hose was loose.
