Water is seeping thru the window or the rear hatch into the floor where the rear seats are housed and water gets trapped into the rear hatch door. This steams the windows decreases gas mileage grows molds. The water can be removed by opening and closing the rear hatch 100 times. Not helpful if it is going to rain next week. Most likely the solution is to replace the window sealer or the door sealer striping or both.

It is hot here most of the time. And the rubber after time could possible contract enough to allow gaps to occur. Most car recalls usually come about when the car is into its second owner or most likely some much time has gone by the cars aren't on the road. Honda is notorious for denying there is anything wrong with the car. Even after you show them. I believe that has to do with national safety rating etc...not the fact that the cars are defective.

My 2006 Odyssey has 95000 miles on it. Gone thru 4 batteries, 4 sets of tires, brakes all around, The power steering pump is screaming it has fluid barely works. I took the car in within the first year for brakes and steering these things have since been recalled but in the first year I was told there was nothing wrong and "we don't need to do paper work" by Honda in Concord CA.

water leaking into vehicle water leaking into vehicle water leaking into vehicle

This Honda Odyssey Touring was purchases in 2010 as a "certified" used vehicle from a honda dealership. Within a few months the roof started to leak. The first time it happened I took the van into the Honda where it was purchased and they "fixed" it for free under warranty. The next time it rained the roof leaked again. I took it in again. They "fixed" it again. The next time it rained the roof leaked again.....I took it it again...and the story goes on and on. The roof still leaks. Every. Time. It. Rains. The van has (not surprisingly) a smell from it always having moisture inside, a water line where it's constantly wet and drying and if you are sitting in the back seat when it's raining (where my oldest child sits) you will literally have water dripping on you. Lovely. The paint is also coming off of this van in large patches so we pretty much never have anyone ride with us unless it's absolutely necessary and yeah right getting any money out of this van and trying to sell it in the condition that it is in (and has been in since within the first year of buying it).
