I first noticed the problem last night on 6/26/2012. about 36 sq inches just peeled off towards the front roof (near the moon roof). The area surrounding the peel is also starting to peel clean off with little effort. This is certainly a manufacturer problem, I have kept it in the garage about 75% of the time. I'm still researching to see if I have any recourse for this, I want to hear the Honda dealer tell me to "keep it out of the sun", since I live in Florida. If he says this I'm gonna donkey punch him in the nuts!

Update from Jul 26, 2012: 0n or about 7/15/2012 I took our van to Lucas Honda Dealership in Jacksonville FL. I spoke with the service Manager John. He took pictures of the van and was very receptive to helping me resolve this problem through Honda. He had me take the van to the local body shop for an estimate. The estimate for painting the entire roof was $650. I just spoke with the dealership yesterday, John told me he hasn't heard from Honda yet.

Had my van about 2 weeks when I went to the car wash and as Im washing it the clear coat is falling off in sheets on the front bumper. So I stop washing my van. The next few days the clear coat is flaking off. We call the dealership and have to take the van back for pictures(1.5 hour drive, one way) to be told they will call us when they have an estimate so we can drive back again to get the problem repaired. Then dealing with the dealership was a whole different problem. We had to fight to get a loaner car for the hours they would have our van. They would only loan us a compact car, mind you I have a mini van for a reason...5 children. So we took the van and they put another clear coat on the spot that peeled, not the entire bumper.

So less than 2 months ago we took our van back to the dealership for this exact problem. We have had the van for less than 3 months now. We now notice that not only the same spot is peeling again but the rear bumper is peeling too. Once again I called dealership to complain and were still waiting to hear back.
