We had the rear motor mounts replaced in Oct 2011 at 68,000 miles under the extended warranty, so no cost except for the rental car we needed to get around for the day. The REAL problem is that the van showed the same problems 5 months ago (May, 2014) at 98,477 miles. Guess what? We need to replace the motor mounts AGAIN at total cost of $1,816.77 to us...extended warranty ran out at 98,461 miles. We chose to NOT to complete repairs, but continue to drive until unbearable.
Now in October, the van cannot be taken out on highway as merging is dangerous...the shuddering mimics running out of gas. As of this Saturday, we will be proud owners of a 2014 Toyota Sienna. As a Honda consumer since 1997, I hope they stop running away from this very serious problem.
