The side metal bar is sliding back and you can’t close the trunk or you have a hard time to open it once, then force it to close. Not sure whether this is caused by the sliding door or not.
Honda tech said they had seen this on more than 5 vehicles but not sure what’s caused it. If they catch it early enough, they will cover under warranty. Since my car is over 35k miles, it is not covered under warranty, and extended warranty won’t cover it either. I have to pay $140 to fix it.
If this happen with different vehicles, why there is no recall on this?
