I bought this car in january of 2013 within 6 months it started jerking and sputtering, took it to the hyaundai dealer told them what it was doing, they put it on the machine but nothing showed up, they drove it (supposidly) said it ran fine. they did a tune up and it ran fine for a few months, then it started all over again.i have 2 more episodes to complain about next!

Update from Mar 28, 2015: I put the wrong mileage in the 1st complaint only had about 43,000 miles on it

Update from Mar 28, 2015: Im sorry im getting the milage mixed up, 2nd time it happened it had maybe 50000 miles on it?

Again, as I was driving home from the grocery store, my car would hesitate and buck when I pressed on the gas pedal. I had been driving the car all day long with no problem until a couple of hours after I filled it with regular gas. No lights have come on to indicate a problem on the computer system. The last time this happened, my husband suggested I was getting bad gas from the station near our home and told me to get gas from a station further away. I was doing so until I had company this week and was in too much of a hurry to drive to the more distant gas station. As soon as I pumped gas 2 times from the close station, my car developed the same problem I had last month. The dealership thought I had moisture in my fuel line last month. I had no trouble with the car for a month when I changed the gas station I was using but the problem returned when I went back to the old gas station this week. This may be a coincidence but I will bring the car in to be repaired tomorrow and find out.

Update from Dec 17, 2014: December 8, 2014 I took my car to a repair facility that I trust to diagnose the problem with the bucking and hesitation. The computer system had not stored a code so the mechanic took the car out on the road until it showed the problem and rushed back to the master computer to test my ignition coils. Coil 4 is bad, but not showing a code. I then drove to the Hyundai dealership because the coils are under warranty, but I cannot get the coil fixed under the warranty because the problem does not show a code on the computer. I was told to drive the car with the broken coil until it gets bad enough to store a computer code and then, if it drives at all, bring it in for the warranty work. I am incensed that I, a senior citizen, have to take a chance that my car will stop running in heavy traffic or on a highway waiting for this problem to get worse and not be able to have it fixed under the warranty now. More so, I wonder why all 4 coils weren't changed along with the spark plugs last year when another of the coils burned out. It was covered under warranty and I was told to expect the other coils to break down soon. I was also told the coil problem is a weakness in the Hyundai Accents.
