September 2020 the car would not start after sitting for awhile, I recently had replaced the battery. Once I got the car to start, when. I slowed the car cut off while I was on a busy street, it's not the alternator everything was still on in the car. The check engine light appeared before the car cut off. Got started again, was able to drive. I've replaced fuel pump, cam shaft sensors, new battery. Any time I drive it the car cuts out when I am at a stop light, the car loses power while driving on the highway, and have to change the oil more often than 3000 miles. I find that I have to top my oil monthly. My check engine comes on randomly and goes off randomly. When I took the car to Hyundai regarding the check engine light, they stated it was a sensor issue.

All three brake lights went out. We tried every basic fix but our personal mechanic says power is not going through the control module and we will need to have it specially repaired by a Hyundai professional. We recieved a citation because our brake lights unknowingly went out and none of the obvious fixes such as bulbs, fuses, or brakes switch replacement ammended the issue. We are at a loss as to how to fix this but saw recalls on other Hyundai models but not this one. We are thinking this is a similar problem. This has literally ruined our lives. We 100% depend on this vehicle and now we have nothing.

Occasionally, when going to usr my vehicle, I will try to unlock the car with my fob and notice it won't respond. Upon starting my vehicle, the engine turns over but my electronics don't fully activate. My clock is off, the radio doesn't turn on, and I can't use the dome lights. However, my dashboard information panel does display my odometer, fuel, and temp gauge, and I can scroll through the display options, but they have all reset. My telltale warning lights come on briefly like a normal start, and when they go away my TPMS telltale remains flashing, indicating it's not getting a signal from my tires. Finally, though my engine sounds like is running, I can't put my vehicle in gear. My only fix has been to let the vehicle sit with the engine running for any where between 2 and 20 minutes, turn the vehicle off, and retry. Once it finally decides to turn on normal, the clock will display, although reset, my TPMS no longer displays, and I can get into gear. Time sitting seems to not effect it because it can sit for days and work normal or hours and act up. My only possible explanation seems to involve the weather after getting very cold or excessive precipitation, but even that isn't necessarily going to guarantee this problem. It may just be pure randomness and it doesn't seem right at all.

I have had a problem with the right turn signal for over a year now. While driving at night when ever I flip up the turn signal to make a right had turn the high beams on the headlights go on. This always happens now. When the turn is completed and the turn signal goes off the low beams go back on. As mentioned this first starting every so often and has deteriorated to the pint it happens all the time now.

Headlight bulbs keep failing in a rapid and repetitive succession, first incident occurred few weeks after purchase and now while I'm writing this on 2/21/2014 I'm on bulb number 7. I've had the car in at the dealer twice, each service took 2 hours and they were not able to find anything, independent tests confirmed that a voltage spike was occurring which could be causing the bulbs to fail, perhaps from faulty voltage regulator. This is a safety issue at this point because twice the headlight bulbs failed at night, both times on a highway, once with pouring down rain and other time was while passing throughout appalachian mountains. I should mention that high beam was not affected.

The contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Accent. The contact stated that water was entering the headlight assembly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection where they stated that the failure was normal and advised the contact to turn on the high beam headlights for 45 minutes in order for the water to evaporate. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 11.
