My car started consuming oil, I thought my car was just getting old. That is until now when I realized that there were a lot of cars with the same engine having the same problems. This consumption of oil caused catalytic converter failure, leading to fuel in my oil. Hyundai will not help due to me being past warranty and not in the safety recall. I'm beyond pissed by now.

Customer complaint of high oil consumption about 1 quart per 300 miles. Problem was found to be ring lands clogged with carbon deposits. Intake valves were also covered in deposits. Valve seals and piston rings replaced fixed the issue.
