We were diving at a speed of approximately 50 mph when we struck a telephone pole with the front end of our 2007 Hyundai Elantra. The impact was 3" off center with a direct front end impact. No airbag deployment occurred with a result of physical damage to myself and my friend.

Hyundai Elantra 2007, none of the air bags deployed during a head-on crash with a truck. The front of the car was totally damaged and the driver side rear end was seriously damaged but none of the six air bags deployed. The car was total. Luckily the seatbelt worked and resulted only minor head, neck and shoulder injuries.

2007 Hyundai Elantra gls. Air bag light comes on indicating there is some malfunction with air bag deployment. I've had this covered under warranty last year (May 2008) and Hyundai replaced the air bag sensor by the driver's seat. The air bag light is once again on right now. By simply moving the driver's seat back and forth, apparently leads to the failure/malfunction of the air bags. This seems to be a faulty air bag sensor that so often breaks down at the place that it has been installed.

I was traveling at a speed of approximately 55 mph. A car stopped suddenly in front of me, so I slammed on my brakes. The brakes locked up, and my car crashed into the car in front of me. The entire front portion of the car was completely smashed in. The front air bag failed to deploy.

The contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Elantra. While driving uphill around a corner at a fast speed, the contact rear ended a horse trailer. The air bags deployed 3 to 4 seconds after she hit the steering wheel. She sustained bruised ribs in the middle of her chest. The contact went home in pain and then decided to go to the hospital. A police report was filed. The contact was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the crash, and she was wearing her seat belt. There was no maintenance or service performed on the air bags. The insurance company declared that the vehicle was destroyed. The failure mileage was 3,000. Updated 12-15-08 updated 12/17/08 8jb
