Check engine light came on, after scanning with a device it indicated a purge valve error. Mechanic suggested that it is something has to do with the fuel system pressure, due to a worn fuel cap. After replacing the cap with a new original one and resetting the check engine light it came back on after refueling.
This is not affecting the car's performance so I didn't fix/replace the purge valve despite that the light is annoyingly always on.
