I went to start the vehicle by pushing the start button while having my foot on the brake, as is the standard for starting the vehicle. I was then met with a loud abrupt cranking sound. It sounded like the car was trying to start, but couldn't. I let the vehicle do this for only 2-3 seconds before becoming very concerned and turning the car off.
When I contacted the dealership, they said that they've never heard of this happening and that I should being it into the shop. They instructed me to turn on the vehicle again. This was about 3 minutes later. The vehicle started up just fine, but the in car vehicle touch screen was off. I turned the vehicle off again and then on and it started up as normal. No one has been able to find out what happened.
