CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

Ok so i went to pick up my Jeep after having a new transmission put in. When i went to park on any slight incline the Jeep would roll between 2-10 feet. I was on a slight incline at the bank and almost hit a light pole. I have an incline on my driveway and it rolled a good 10 feet before hearing a click click click and then it finally stopped. This is not the normal roll and catch of a vehicle. Took it to the dealership where they could not get the Jeep to do it again. They wanted to know if I had the vehicle in park when this happened and if the P was visible on the dash. The vehicle rolled a number of times while in park. I now do not feel safe driving my vehicle. I do not have confidence in my vehicle at all. I have never been more disappointed.
