CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2019 Cherokee is racking up engine complaints for suddenly shutting down while driving. But the problem could possibly be related to the increasingly defective 9-speed transmission which suffers from hard shifts, lurching problems, and a wiring harness defect that can cause sudden shutdowns or an unexpected shift into neutral.
I bought a 2019 Jeep, it wasn't cheap. Now I have a banging noise at 7000 miles. I have to turn on the radio to make noise to go away. This happens when I'm between 30 mph @45 mph, a dull clunking noise when I get back on the throttle. I'll be taking it to the dealer next week. After the fourth try I will lemon law this vehicle. Don't mess with Chrysler, document every thing, get your money back. The people that tested these vehicles had to know this was happening. 35 grand is a lot of money. Also this may be a safety risk as the miles pile up. Good luck.
