I'm not sure when we received the recall notice for the ignition switch but it has been an extremely long time. We have not heard anything about getting this fixed.
I shut the vehicle off and went back to start. I was able to turn electronic key the electronics came on but it wouldn't turn the engine over. Went back the next day and it did start, took to spirit Jeep, swedesboro, NJ. They ran diagnostics and determined to be win module. Contacted Chrysler and told it was not part of the recall, I am having fixed anyway. Prior to this there were two incidents that may be related, around a month or two before the motor turned off while in traffic, I shifted to neutral and restarted. I thought I may have hit the key with my knee. The second incident was that the airbag alarm on the dash came on, had it diagnosed at a local garage and they said that it was the passenger seatbelt was defective so I believe he disarmed the airbag. After looking online it seems that these are repetitive problems with Chrysler products. And are related to the L25 recall. This is no cheap fix $750 for module and 2 keys. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

I have received a recall letter prior to this date and when I called the dealer they said they had no information on this recall. I was parked and when I turned the key it stuck after the car tried to start back in the accessory position. I asked the dealer how long before the details and parts would be in. Still no details to date. Any update when I can get an appt. Concerns me the other part of this recall is vehicle shuts down while going down the road? thanks, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
While driving the vehicle on the hwy all the interior lights on the dashboard flickered on, and then the car lost power. Has happened multiple times since the, and we haven't driven it in 3 months. Chrysler sent us a recall notice last year, but still has not manufactured a part to replace this safety recall. Recall # P57 / NHTSA 14V-567. Since this problem started I have wasted time and money trying to have it repaired..... and it keeps on happening. Jeep dealers should issue loaner cars, until they have a part to fix this.
