My jeep liberty complaint # 59, 973.2, the plastic reflector on the headlights of this fine junk vehicle, melted as i was coming up my driveway, thank GOD for redneck spotlights, if i had been on the road this would have been very bad. The headlight bulbs are very bright and get very hot being a halogen light. So why is the reflector a piece of plastic, another fine JEEP innovation and another repair for me. Had to buy all the parts from a salvage yard due to JEEP parts being made of GOLD or Platinum i guess. So the whole front grill had to come off for this repair, not really hard but very stupid on JEEP'S behalf and could have been fatal if i had been on the interstate, check your headlight bulbs to see if they are getting black and not as bright. So far I have found 3 of my friend's the same way, black bulbs and not very good headlights at night, phew... I'm gonna go and buy me a another JEEP liberty so I can have a lifetime of repairs, no money or retirement and BOOKED UP WEEKENDS.
