During scheduled maintenance the dealership discovered the fuel tank under so much pressure that it has expanded so much that it stretched the straps holding it to the vehicle, bent the sheet metal above the tank so badly that the new tank could not be tightened up with the new straps, and the metal protective plate between the fuel tank and the drive shaft had been pushed down into the drive shaft. The dealership replaced the fuel tank, straps holding the fuel tank to the vehicle, had body shop push sheet metal under back seat down, replaced the rear drive shaft and the shield between the drive shaft and fuel tank. The dealership still cannot get the new tank to tighten up under the vehicle. The dealership has had the vehicle for nearly two months. No end in sight.
