I was recently in a car accident in baltimore, md. And when I got hit my air bags didn't deploy even though my car took a huge hit to the front drivers side. I would like to find out why this didn't happen.

The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Town car. The contact activated the speed control and the vehicle suddenly accelerated. He depressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle failed to stop. When the vehicle finally stopped, the driver side was struck by another vehicle. The front air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries to his neck and back. The vehicle was traded back to the dealer. The contact was injured. The current and failure mileages were 1,500. Updated 4/21/08
