Noticed the problem when the weather was hot. I then had the transmission rebuilt, and we found the cause of the problem was the rear overdrive cover plate. The piece of metal that holds the bearings in place wore off and as you can see in the pictures it then fell apart and parts flew inside the transmission. That round gasket was in the middle of the transmission and got damaged from the other parts flying around.
