So, up until this year this was a really great car. I have had it for 14 years, i have done lots of maintenance on it. It is in almost new condition. Recently, the car has been turning off while I am driving it. Upon further inspection, it is not getting spark. This problem started out by the car dying on the road while i was driving it, then it would not start for a minimum of 30 minutes. I tried to fix it for about 2 weeks but could not pinpoint the issue. I took it to the dealer who had it for another 1.5 weeks and they could not find the issue either. However, it seemed to stop reproducing. after taking the car back home, it now reproduces again but infrequently and it will start up again immediately (so far, but i am afraid to drive it so no telling for sure). I am at my whits end with this problem and can only think that it has to be an electrical issue. There is no check engine code, when the car is reproducing the issue the OBD II scanner does not recognize there is a computer. I have changed the EFI relay, the Starter Relay, the car has coil over ignition and it seems to be getting fuel and air just fine. If anyone has any thoughts, please please please let me know.
