We were going into a shopping mall to get the weekend newspapers, and were just about to park the car
when it accelerated out of control. I had the brake pedal depressed fully and was unable to stop the car.
As a result it went up over a curb and a parking sign for handicapped.The only way that I was able to
stop the vehicle was to put the transmission in park while moving forward.
