Started using the parking brake to avoid parking pawl damage. While reversing out of my driveway, I heard a scrape/pop noise every 3 to 5 seconds, very annoying and sounds expensive. Noise will not go away at all!
henders safety i believe. on honeymoon in the mountains hearing a popping click when braking in reverse doesn't feel very secure...
The funny thing is my wifes 97' Camry that she just bought used does the same thing. My mechanic who mainly works on American stuff couldn't figure it out without taking it apart and so i'm considering the Toyo dealership and pay an arm and a leg. Any suggestions?
