A luxury car in India costing an arm and a leg, the Camry is a nice car. The air conditioning started giving problems in January and was to have been serviced but again had problems starting. This time they said changed the compressor for a whooping amount. It's incredible a car can spoil its AC compressor in 70000 kms . Unheard of especially in a city that is hardly hot through the year.
Is the luxury worth the money that one has to pay for all these extra problems. Maybe good idea to stay with solid European cars. Tell the Toyota company and they say pay and replace the part and we will test the old one and if it is bad we will refund. -- like I would know .
Big Question - How can a compressor get spoiled so fast? Is it time for the recalls to start or are they hiding something in the issues? With Japanese recession I am sure they don't think they will do much for car safety.
