On a hot day, the moon roof does not open. If it does open, there is no guarantee that it will close.
That can be a problem is a rain shower is on the forecast.
I took apart the ceiling console, cleaned the board and reinstalled.
It works and re-calibrated the open/close up/down settings, but on a hot day, it failed to open again.
No it isn't a safety issue, but Toyota could make the part available.
